Activate A Patch

Please refer to User Guide SECTION 4 for more details.
1.
Prepare an ADM or Narsha, a new Patch, alcohol
swab, & Rapid-acting insulin vial at room tempera-
ture.
2.
Wash your hands with soap and water. Clean the top
of the insulin vial with an alcohol swab.
3.
Take out the syringe and the needle from the packa-
ging. Twist the needle into the syringe.
4.
Draw air into the syringe, equal to the amount of
insulin you will be using. Insert the needle into the
vial and inject air.
5.
Turn the vial upside down and draw insulin into the
syringe. Take out the needle and flick the syringe to
remove air bubbles.
6.
Insert the needle into the insulin fill port on the Pa-
tch. Inject at least 80 U and no more than 200 U.
7.
Place the Patch next to the controller you are using.
Tap Start Pairing on the ADM or Narsha.

CAUTION
• Do not inject anywhere other than the fill port.
• Leave the Patch in the blister while filling.
• Do not insert syringe at an angle.
• Do not inject air into the fill port.
