REMOVING LIMESCALE
Mineral deposits in tap water can create limescale inside the appliance, which reduces
its performance. Descale the tea kettle regularly. The descaling process can be
performed according to the following instructions, using white wine vinegar.
1. Fill the tea kettle with three cups of white vinegar and then add water to
completely cover the bottom of the tea kettle. Leave the solution in the
electric tea kettle overnight.
2. Then pour out the mixture, fill the tea kettle with clean water, boil and pour
out the water. Repeat several times until the vinegar smell is gone. Any stains
inside the tea kettle can be removed by wiping with a damp cloth.
