Setting the temperature
The thermostat knob switches the appliance on and off. It is located at the top right of the
refrigerator compartment.
This button has 8 different adjustment positions, from 0 to 7: we would advise that you adjust the
thermostat to position 5 for normal, daily use. If you adjust your appliance to a colder setting (6 or
7), you will use less energy to run the appliance. To the contrary, you'll save energy.
The more you turn the thermostat button, the lower the temperature.

Do not open the door of the appliance for the first 30 minutes. We recommend leaving the
•
refrigerator running empty (without any food inside) for about 1 to 2 hours (depending on the
room temperature).
The temperature inside the appliance is a function of several factors, such as the room
•
temperature, the quantity of food stored, how often the door is opened, etc.
NOTE: When the thermostat is set to "7", you may hear the compressor running more often.
The coldest zone
The symbol opposite indicates the location of the coldest zone of your refrigerator,
where the temperature is less than or equal to 4°C. This button is located above
the fruit and vegetable drawer (see diagram on next page).
Given that the shelves are removable, always keep the shelf, located at the edge of the cold zone,
in the position indicated by the sticker. This is to preserve the temperature in this area.
