Step 5. Connect the diverter valve and
second extension tube. Make sure the
arrow on the back of the diverter valve
is pointing up.
• Connect the fountain nozzle to the
top extension tube.
Step 6. Connect the 1/2 in. tubing to the
output of the diverter valve. Connect the
other end of tubing to the Koi spitter
Step 7. Place the assembled filter kit in
the water.
• Make sure to slightly tilt the filter kit
when placing it in the pond to fil the
unit with water.
After the pond is full:
• Arrange the Koi Spitter near the edge of
the pond so that the mouth is facing the
pond.
• With dry hands, connect the plug into a
properly grounded electrical outlet.
• Utilize the pivoting base to achieve a
more vertical fountain display if needed.
• Adjust the flow control on the diverter
valve as needed.
Step 1. Connect the sensor to the
transformer by pushing the plug into the
transformer socket and hand tighten the
nut around the plug and socket to secure.
• If you do not want to use the sensor,
connect the lights to the transformer in
the same manner and skip to step 4.
Step 2. Connect the lights to the sensor
by pushing the plug into the sensor
socket and hand tighten the nut around
the plug and socket to secure.
Step 3. Make sure that the transformer
and sensor are not submerged and are
facing up.
• NOTE: At night, the lights will
automatically turn on. At sunrise,
they will automatically turn off.
Step 4. Place the lights in or out of
the pond. Plug the transformer into a
properly grounded electrical outlet.
