Preparations for operation

POSITIONING THE APPLIANCE
The maximum ambient temperature and relative humidity limits not to be
exceeded are +40°C and 85% RH, respectively. Keep the appliance away from any
hot surfaces. Always operate the appliance on a level, firm, clean, fireproof, and
dry surface and out of the reach of children and individuals with reduced mental,
sensory and intellectual capacities.
3.3.

Operating the appliance

Install the batteries in the battery compartment in the rear of the checkweigher
before operation. Mind the polarity.
3.3.1. TURNING THE PRODUCT ON/OFF:
2. Place an object on the platter.
3. Wait for the displayed reading to stabilise itself.
4. When done weighing, press and hold the power switch to turn off the
product.
3.3.2. FUNCTION KEYS:
/T – power On/Off switch and tare:
Pressing the key with a weight on the platter tares the actual weight. The tare
function zeroes the weight on the platter, like the weight of a container/vessel.
This helps weighing objects added to the tare zero. Pressing and holding the
power ON/OFF switch sets the automatic turn-off delay: press and hold, then
press the same key repeatedly to select "1", "3" or "5" (minutes of delay to
automatic turn-off) or "-". "-" disables the automatic turn-off feature.
