RACLETTE
Introduction
To get the most out of your new raclette,
please read through these instructions
before use. Please also save the manual in
case you need to refer to it at a later date.

socket.

Important safeguards

When using your raclette, basic safety
precautions should always be followed:
Read all instructions.
If you pass on this appliance to a third party,
these operating instructions must also be
handed over.
Incorrect operation and handling can lead to
malfunction of the appliance and injuries to
the user.
This appliance is not suitable for commercial
use or for use in the open air.
Before inserting the plug into the mains
socket, please check that the current power
supply complies with the speci� cations on
the type plate.
Only use the raclette for its intended use.

To protect against a risk of electric shock,
do not immerse the raclette in water or any
other liquids.
Never pull on the cord to disconnect it from
the outlet; instead, grasp the plug and pull
on it to disconnect.
Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces.
Let the raclette cool down completely before
cleaning.
Do not operate the raclette with a damaged
cord or if the raclette has been dropped or
damaged. To avoid the risk of electric shock,
do not disassemble the raclette; take it to
a quali� ed serviceman for repair. Incorrect
reassembly can cause a risk of electric shock
when the raclette is used.
Close supervision is necessary for any
appliance used by or near children. Do not
leave the raclette unattended while plugged
in. Children must be supervised to ensure
they do not play with the appliance.
To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate
another high voltage appliance on the same
circuit.
If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, a
10-ampere cord should be used. Cords rated
for less amperage may overheat. Care should
be taken to arrange the cord so that it cannot
be pulled or tripped over.
All repair work should be carried out by an
approved service centre.
