Always unplug the appliance if it will not be
used for a prolonged period.
Never insert anything into the ventilation
openings and do not cover them.
Do not use outdoors. Do not place in direct
sunlight or in a location with a high fi re risk.
For your own safety, we recommend that you
never leave the appliance in a place which is
exposed to harsh weather conditions.
This appliance must be earthed. Do not use
the appliance together with an extension
cord. Make sure that the voltage indicated on
the rating place matches the mains voltage.
If this is not the case, the appliance must not
be used. Contact an expert for advice.
Do not connect the appliance using an
on/off timer or other equipment that can
automatically switch on the appliance. Do
not cover the appliance as it may otherwise
overheat.
Do not place the appliance close to heat
sources, objects, gas appliances or highly
fl ammable materials.
Do not place heavy objects on the appliance.
Do not place the appliance on top of other
objects.
Never insert fi ngers or other objects through
the grilles.
Make sure that the appliance cannot tilt
more than 35° when you move it. Avoid
vibrations or shocks. Do not move the
appliance during use.
Children must not play with the appliance or
climb on it. When the appliance is running,
keep a close eye on children and pets.
Do not expose pets or plants to direct airfl ow
for prolonged periods.
Never use pesticides, oil, cleaning agents or
spray paint on or near the appliance.
Be aware of where you pull the cord to avoid
injuries during use.
Never use the fan in the immediate vicinity
of a bathtub, a shower or a swimming pool.
Avoid getting water on the appliance.
Never immerse the appliance, its plug or cord
in water or other liquids.
The power cord should be regularly
examined for visible damage. The appliance
must not be used if the cord is damaged.
Never plug the appliance in with wet hands.
Never use the appliance with bare or wet
feet.
Never unplug the appliance by pulling on the
cord. After use, always unplug the appliance.
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning
it.
Assembly
Please refer to the illustrations at the back of
these user instructions.
1. Screw the base (7) to the column using
the angle screw and washer.
2. Attach the motor housing (5) to the
column and secure it by tightening the
wing screw.
3. Screw the rear grille (3) securely to the
motor housing (5) using 4 screws. Make
sure that the handle is at the top.
4. Insert the blade (2) over the motor axle
and secure it by tightening the screw on
the side of the blade (2).
5. Hook the front grille (1) onto the rear
grille (3) and click them together using
the metal clips.
