8. First Use

The air regulator is delivered in an assembled and operationally ready
state.
Check after unpacking:
■ Air regulator damaged.
■ Scope of supply complete (see chapter 5).
8.1. Personalise air regulator.
The air regulator can be personalised with a CCS disk [3-1]. The air regu-
lator is supplied ex works fitted with a red CCS disk [3-2].
■ Pull off the CCS-disk on the air regulator and replace it with a CCS-disk
of a different colour.
8.2. Exchange fastening module on carrying side.
Notice!
The air regulator is supplied ex works with the fastening module fitted to 
the air regulator for right-handed operation.
The breathing protection hood connection must always point to the rear.
■ Fold the hood holder [4-3] down.
■ Unscrew the screws [4-2].
■ Change the side for fitting the hood holder and fastening module [4-1].
■ Fasten the hood bracket and the fastening module to the air regulator
with the screws.
8.3. Remove Protect safety cap
The air regulator is supplied ex works with the Protect safety cap [5-2]
fitted to the left adapter   p late [5-4] of the belt.
Changing to the right adapter plate
■ Press the release lever [5-1] in.
■ Pull off the protection cap upwards.
