4. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

WARNING! PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS,
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS, AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE
OPERATING THIS APPLIANCE. FAILURE TO PROPERLY FOLLOW THE
GUIDELINES ESTABLISHED HERE COULD RESULT IN THE DIGITAL FILM
SCANNER NOT WORKING CORRECTLY. KEEP THIS MANUAL FOR FUTURE
REFERENCE.
1. Never operate digital film scanner inside of an aircraft or anywhere else where
operation of such devices is restricted. Improper use creates the risk of serious
accident.
2. Do not try to open the case of digital film scanner or attempt to modify digital
film scanner in any way.
3. High-voltage internal components create the risk of electric shock when
exposed. Maintenance and repairs should be performed only by authorized
service providers.
4. Keep digital film scanner away from water and other liquids. Do not use digital
film scanner with wet hands.
5. Never use digital film scanner in the rain or snow.
6. Moisture creates the danger of fire and electric shock.
7. Keep digital film scanner and its accessories out of the reach of children and
animals to prevent accidents or damage to the digital film scanner.
8. If you notice smoke or a strange odor coming from digital film scanner, turn
the power off immediately. Take digital film scanner to the nearest authorized
service center for repairing. Never attempt to repair digital film scanner on your
own.

indicate malfunction.
