12. Install fan stabilizer (if included)
Fan stabilizer is included only with damp-rated fans. Install stabilizer in
covered outdoor locations on fl at ceilings only.
Position stabilizer into notches on top of mounting ball (Fig. 12.1).
Secure stabilizer plate to stabilizer with fan stabilizer hardware (Fig. 12.2).
