Removal and cleaning
DANGER
Risk of infection due to fluids hazardous to health!
Hazardous germs may form in stagnant waters (e.g. pump sump, soakaways, etc.).
Disinfect the pump after removal! Wear the following protective equipment when
removing and cleaning the pump:
WARNING
Hand injuries resulting from a lack of protective equipment!
There is a danger of (serious) hand injuries while carrying out the work. Wear pro-
tective gloves (minimum requirements in accordance with EN 388, category II:
3131X)!
▪ Depending on the fluid, housing parts may reach a temperature of over 40 °C (104 °F).
Do not touch any part of the product other than the handle and allow the product to
cool down before further work.
▪ Clean and (if necessary) disinfect the product thoroughly!

• Filter mask for breathing protection (minimum requirements in accordance
with EN 149: protection class FFP2)
• Protective gloves (minimum requirements in accordance with EN ISO 374-1:
type C)
Pump is decommissioned.
Gate valves on the inlet and pressure side are closed.
1. Disconnect the pump from the mains.
DANGER! Have electrical work carried out by a qualified electrician!
2. Disconnect the connection cable from the pressure pipe.
3. Release the pump and discharge pipe from the pressure pipe.
4. Lift the pump from the operating space. CAUTION! Never pull the product by
the connection cable! Always carry the product by the handle.
5. Unscrew the discharge pipe from the pressure port.
6. Coil up the connection cable and store it with the pump.
7. Thoroughly clean the pump and discharge pipe (see "Cleaning and disinfecting"
chapter).
