Membrane air pump for aquaria
In purchasing this unit, you have selected a top quality product. It has been specifically designed for aquarium
use and has been tested by experts.
1. Features
The air pumps of the Mistral series are characterized by very low power consumption and a durable membrane.
The vibration-absorbing rubber feet ensure low-noise and low-vibration operation. The Mistral 400 and 800 have
an adjustable power regulator that allows flexible use for ventilating aquaria with air stones and the operation of
protein skimmers with ceramic or wooden air stones. As a result, the Mistral membrane air pumps are designed
for use in freshwater and saltwater aquaria in home living areas.

3. Safety instructions

Only operate aquaria and its devices on circuits with FI circuit breakers.

Before reaching into the aquarium, pull the plug.

The pump must never come into contact with water.

If the pump falls into the water, be sure to pull out the plug before removing it.

The pump must not be operated if the plug or power cord is damaged.
4. Installation
The pump is connected to the consumer via an aquarium air hose with a diameter of 6 mm. If ozone is to be used,
an ozone-proof hose (e.g. silicone hose) must be used.
The pump should be positioned in a dry place. Care should be taken to ensure that water cannot enter the pump
when, for instance, it is switched off for aquarium maintenance or during a power failure.
There are two methods of installation:

above the water level
-
below the water level. In this case, a reliable non-return valve must be fitted in the air pipe.
Ensure that the power plug can easily be reached at any time.
