Maintaining the Ozone generator is easy and involves ensuring the desiccants are kept dry. Desiccants absorb moisture from the air and are
essential for ozone generation. The desiccants are housed in the Air-Dry Tube and are designed to change color when they absorb moisture.
Referring to the chart on the air-dry tube, when more than 80% of the desiccants turn green maintenance is required.
NOTE: The color of the desiccants must be checked regularly.
1. Turn off the Ozone generator and the pump.
• Remember to unplug Ozone generator first. Never unplug the Pump when the Ozone generator is running.
• YOU MUST UNPLUG THE OZONE GENERATOR AND THE PUMP BEFORE PERFORMING MAINTENANCE OR SEVERE RISK OF INJURY
OR DEATH EXISTS.
2. Stop water flowing to the pump and the Ozone generator by closing the connection valves or replacing the debris screens with the stopper plugs
on the pool.
3. Steps in replacing new desiccants:
• Never operate the Ozone generator when more than 80% of the desiccants in the air-dry tube turn green as this will shorten the life span of the
air-dry tube and decrease ozone production. You can refer the label on the air-dry tube, when the desiccants above the red line turn green, you
must replace the desiccants. (See Fig. 4)

a) Push up remove the air-dry tube from the Ozone generator. (See Fig. 5)

b) Unscrew the air-dry tube cap, replace new desiccants into the air-dry tube and seal the cap.
c) Replace the air-dry tube into the Ozone generator.
• Do not operate the Ozone generator when the air-dry tube is not in the Ozone generator or the desiccants are green.
4. After maintenance, replace the Stopper Plugs with the Debris Screens in the pool's Inlet and Outlet Valves or open the Connection Valves. Water
will now flow to the Pump and the Ozone generator.
5. To begin operation, start the Filter Pump or Sand Filter according to the owner's manual. For filter pumps, bleed the air purge valve before
operating.
CAUTION: YOU MUST UNPLUG THE OZONE GENERATOR AND THE PUMP BEFORE CARRYING OUT ANY MAINTENANCE OR SEVERE
RISK OF INJURY OR DEATH EXISTS.
To avoid damage, pool equipment must be winterized when temperatures decrease and should not be used below 5°C. Allowing water to freeze will
damage the Ozone generator and void the warranty.
The Ozone generator should not be left in the open air for long periods of time.
1. Stop water flowing to the Pump and the Ozone generator by closing the connection valves or replacing the stopper plugs.
2. Detach all hoses.
3. Drain any water in the Ozone generator and clean all components thoroughly.
4. Spill the desiccants.
5. Store the Ozone generator in a cool, dry place, out of children's reach.
Meaning of crossed –out wheeled dustbin:
Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use separate collection facilities.

If electrical appliances are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwater and get into the food chain,
damaging your health and well-being.
When replacing old appliances with new ones, the retailer is legally obligated to take back your old appliance for disposals at least free of charge.
