When the batteries are empty, the unit can also be operated with the charger
if a mains supply is available. For this, switch the unit off at first and charge
the batteries for approx. 5 minutes.
Never connect the charger to a power outlet without the machine con-
nected!
Protect the charger from moisture!

A battery that is new or has not been used for a longer period does not de-
velop its full capacity until after approximately 5 charging/discharging cy-
cles.
To remove the battery 4, press the unlocking buttons 5 and pull out the bat-
tery downwards. Do not exert any force.
Insert the battery into the charger cradle 12. Insert the charger plug 11 of the
charger into the socket of the charger cradle 12.
Observe the notes on environmental protection.
Changing the Tool
Insert the screwdriver bit directly into the hexagon collet.

To drive in a screw, press the front part of the On/Off switch (right-hand/left-
hand rotation) 6 towards the hexagon collet.
To drive out a screw, press the rear part of the On/Off switch (right-hand/
left-hand rotation) 6 towards the back end of the machine/battery.
For switching off, release the On/Off switch (right-hand/left-hand rota-
tion) 6.
Operating Instructions
Lighting
The light 7 lets you illuminate the screwing location in case of unfavourable
lighting conditions.
By turning the lighting ring 2, the light 7 can be switched on or off.
Angular Adjustment (see figure
The screwdriver head can be locked in 4 different angular positions. Press
the switch lever 3 to the rear for this and adjust the required angular position.
Afterwards, release the switch lever again.
To avoid injuries, check if the screwdriver head is locked in the respective
angular position before starting operation.
