Other safety instructions
1.
For personal safety, wear appropriate clothing, such as non-slip boots and protective
trousers, gloves and goggles.
2.
Do not wear loose and long clothing and do not wear jewellery, so as to avoid them getting
caught in moving parts.
3.
Do not use this tool with bare feet or slippers.
4.
Do not use the chainsaw in the rain or near strong magnetic fields.
5.
This product is designed to prune branches and cut small diameter trees. Do not use to cut other
materials.Do not attempt to remove the jammed chain until the power is turned off.
6.
Before starting to cut, check for anything hidden among the branches or hedges, such as
wires, cables, etc.
7.
Always hold the tool with one hand and keep at least 15 cm away from the other hand.
8.
Do not use this tool near flammable liquids or gases. A potential short circuit could cause
an explosion or fire.
9.
The chain must always be inspected, the teeth must be sharpened regularly, the tension
and lubrication of the chain must be checked periodically. A chain with unsharpened teeth
will quickly drain the battery.
10. Unless you have received training, do not repair your chainsaw yourself. Repairs not menti-
oned in this manual may only be carried out by specialised personnel from the authorised
local dealer or Stocker srl.
Special safety instructions for cordless power tools
1.
Before using or charging, make sure the battery and charger are both dry.
2.
Make sure that the switch is Off before inserting the battery. If it is not OFF, inserting the
battery may result in fire or explosion.
3.
The charger is designed for indoor use, make sure the battery is recharged accordingly.
4.
Before cleaning the charger, disconnect it from the mains socket and remove the battery in
order to minimise safety risks.

Do not leave the battery in direct sunlight for a long time. Do not place the battery on a
heater. Heat can damage the battery and increase the risk of explosion.
6.
Before charging, make sure the battery has completely cooled.
7.
Do not open the battery to avoid any mechanical damage. It may also cause a short circuit
or emit a gas that is harmful to the respiratory tract. In case of discomfort, inhale fresh air
and seek medical advice.

Do not use a non-rechargeable battery or any other power source not approved by Stocker
srl.
Precautions to be observed during use

10. In certain circumstances, the operator may not focus on the job and may be seriously inju-
red after tripping or falling.
a. Always work calmly and in a planned manner.
b. Do not use the chainsaw when there is poor visibility and in dark environments.
c. Please use your own chainsaw.
d. Do not use the chainsaw above shoulder height.
e. Watch out for obstacles.
f. When operating the chainsaw, make sure you are in a safe position and keep your balan-
ce. For operations at height use a lifting device or stable scaffolding.
11. The user may be injured or seriously injured by the chain while the chainsaw is still running.
a. Do not touch the chain when the chainsaw is running.
12. The chain of a running chainsaw will become hotter and consequently longer; it may jump
out of the bar and break if it is not cooled and re-tensioned correctly. This can cause serious
personal injury and damage property.
a. Make sure the chainsaw lubricating oil is working properly.
b. Check that the chainsaw chain is tensioned correctly. If the chain of the chainsaw is
loose, adjust it.
