Introduction

The Froth-Pak Refill System is a polyurethane foam dispens-

ing system for users who require large quantities of foam . The
system consists of "A" and "B" chemical tanks, chemical filters,
a high pressure regulator, nitrogen lines, chemical dispensing
hoses, and a Gun/Hose Assembly Kit . The system requires dry
nitrogen for chemical tank pressurization and is not supplied .
The Froth-Pak Refill System is designed for ease-of-use .

The following instructions should be followed strictly to
ensure maximum equipment performance and efficiency .

Froth-Pak Foam Insulation and Sealant kits are designed

for professional use only . Professional users have completed
the OSHA/CCOSH requirements for respiratory protection
(i . e . routine health exams and fit testing, cartridge change out
schedule, required OSHA/CCOSH documentation), have
completed review of the instructions herein, and have
reviewed the safe use and handling presentations found at:

Summary of safe use instructions
Application guidelines as provided by DuPont should
be followed exactly in order to ensure compliance with
building codes for user safety and worker safety regulations .
Read all information bulletins, (Material) Safety Data Sheets
((M)SDS) and "Product Information" sheets . The SDS are
available at building . d upont . c om
Application of this product is considered a "low pressure" spray
foam process, which uses static mixing and application pressure
less than 250 psi . Workers should carefully read the enclosed
safe handling portion of this manual and review the Safe Use
and Handling presentations at building . d upont . c om all before
using Froth-Pak Polyurethane Foam Insulation and Sealant kits .

Workers must be respirator fit tested . Employers must have a
documented respiratory and personal protective equipment
(PPE) plan in accordance with federal (OSHA, CCOSH) require-
ments . See Section 2 for further PPE information .
