Danger! - If you smell gas
1.Immediately close the gas valve.
2.Immediately extinguish all open flames.
3.Open the lid.
4.Do not operate any electrical devices.
5.If the smell of gas persists, keep a safe distance from the product
and inform your gas supplier or fire department.
Leaking gas is an explosion and fire hazard that can cause serious injury or death. In confined spaces,
asphyxiation could occur.
Leak testing
All gas connections on the grill are tested for leaks before delivery. However it is necessary to perform a
complete leak test before first use. Run the test on the entire system at regular intervals and before every
use. Do the test immediately if you smell gas.
1.Ensure that all controls are off.
2.Ensure the pressure reducer is connected to the
gas bottle.
3.Open the gas valve completely by turning it
anticlockwise. If you hear a whistling sound, turn the
gas valve immediately – there is a leak at the connec-
tion.
4.Check each connection of the cylinder to the gas
manifold by brushing or spraying the soap solution on
the connections.
5.If bubbles form somewhere, there is a leak. Turn off
the gas bottle valve and tighten the connections.
Open the valve and check again.
Maintenance
Keep the barbecue area clean and free of combustible materials. Keep the burner holes clean, to obtain a
sufficient ventilation of the device. Visual inspection of the burner flames are as follows: When working, the
burner flames are mostly blue in colour with a slight yellow tip. If faulty, the burner flames are mostly yellow
and have an uneven shape with a strong flickering. There may be an excessive noise as well. In this case
the burner and the gas valve must be cleaned immediatly.
