Pushback
The saw is pushed back toward the operator
when the top of the bar is used for cutting.
WARNING
■ If the rotating chain makes contact with a hard
object and is suddenly pinched, the saw can
be abruptly pushed back toward the operator.
The operator can lose control of the saw and
be seriously or fatally injured.
► Hold the saw firmly with both hands.
► Operate the saw as described in this
instruction manual.

Transporting
4.9.1
Chainsaw
WARNING
■ The saw may tip over or shift during transport.
Persons may be injured or property damaged.
► Remove the battery.
► Engage the chain brake.
► Push the chain scabbard over the guide bar
until it engages, so that it completely covers
the guide bar.
► Secure the chainsaw with lashing straps,
belts or a net to prevent it tipping over and
moving around.
■ If the chainsaw is transported using the ring of
the chain scabbard, the chainsaw may fall
down. Persons may be injured or property
damaged.

Battery
WARNING
■ The battery is not protected against all ambi‐
ent conditions. The battery may be damaged if
it is exposed to certain ambient conditions,
and damage to property may occur.
► Never transport a damaged battery.
■ The battery may turn over or shift during trans‐
port. This may result in injury to people and
damage to property.
► Pack the battery in packaging in such a way
that it cannot move.
► Secure the packaging so that it cannot
move.

Storing
4.10.1
Chainsaw
WARNING
■ Children are not aware of and cannot assess
the dangers of a chainsaw Children may be
seriously injured.
► Remove the battery.
► Engage the chain brake.
► Push the chain scabbard over the guide bar
until it engages, so that it completely covers
the guide bar.
► Store the chainsaw out of the reach of chil‐
dren.
■ Moisture can cause corrosion of the electrical
contacts on the chainsaw and its metal com‐
ponents. This can damage the chainsaw.
► Remove the battery.
► Store the chainsaw in a clean and dry con‐
dition.

Battery
WARNING
■ Children are not aware of and cannot assess
the dangers of the battery Children may be
seriously injured.
► Store the battery out of the reach of chil‐
dren.
■ The battery is not protected against all ambi‐
ent conditions. If the battery is exposed to cer‐

irreparably damaged.
