h. Fuel quality requirements
Pellets
Sawdust granulate (pellets) are the basic type of fuel used in the Twin Bio
Luxury NE boiler, produced in accordance with EN 303-5:2012 / PN- EN ISO
17225-2: 2014 in class of C1 / A1, A2, B
Specifications for A1 pellet:
• granulation 6±1 mm;
• length 3.15 ≤ L ≤ 40
• recommended calorific value 16500 – 19000 kJ/kg
• ash content ≤0.7%
• moisture content ≤ 10%
• specific weight (density) ≥600 kg/m³
• ash melting point above 1200° C
Specifications for A2 pellet:
• granulation 6±1 mm;
• length 3.15 ≤ L ≤ 40
• recommended calorific value 16500 – 19000 kJ/kg
• ash content ≤1.2%
• moisture content ≤ 10%
• specific weight (density) ≥600 kg/m³
• ash melting point above 1200° C
Specifications for B pellet:
• granulation 6±1 mm;
• length 3.15 ≤ L ≤ 40
• recommended calorific value 16500 – 19000 kJ/kg
• ash content ≤2%
• moisture content ≤ 10%
• specific weight (density) ≥600 kg/m³
• ash melting point above 1200° C

CAUTION! USE THE FUELS FROM RELIABLE SOURCES ONLY.
FUELS MUST HAVE SUITABLE MOISTURE CONTENT AND LOW
PROPORTION OF FINES WHICH MAY CAUSE WEDGING OF THE
GRATE AND REDUCE THE AIRFLOW. WOOD PELLETS SHOULD
NOT CONTAIN MECHANICAL IMPURITIES (STONES ETC.)
WHICH MAY AFFECT THE COMBUSTION PROCESS
AND DAMAGE THE DEVICE.
i. Selecting the nominal heat output of a boiler
The nominal boiler heat output must correspond to the heat demand. The heat
demand for domestic hot water and central heating systems is determined in
accordance with relevant standards and regulations. The process heat demand
is calculated in accordance with the relevant requirements of the production
processes for an individual plant. The nominal heat output of the boiler must
be selected by an authorized person based on thorough calculations. Do not
oversize the boiler.
j. System venting
Water heating system venting must conform to the relevant standards and
regulations.

5. Boiler specifications

The Twin Bio Luxury Compact type NE boiler is a low temperature boiler
with a three flue gas passes combustion circuit. Its design is characterized by
appropriate shape and length. The advantages of this solution include its lesser
susceptibility to ash deposits on the exchanger's walls and baffles. The ash falls
into the ash pan by gravity. It guarantees excellent boiler operating conditions:
high efficiency, high durability thanks to an advanced heat exchanger and low
emission of hazardous substances. The boiler was manufactured in accordance
with the EN 303-5:2012 standard.
