Permanently inhaling bad and stale air can cause
tiredness, headaches, eye irritation, etc. The ability
to perform and concentrate decreases noticeably
as a result.
7. Functions of the + and M buttons
• Press the + button (B) to check the max / min
measured values. Holding the + button (B) for
longer permanently deletes all of the measurements
made so far.
• Pressing the M button allows the temperature
display to be toggled between Celsius and
Fahrenheit.
8. Calibration instructions:
• Move the CO
measuring device outdoors to
2
calibrate it.
• Ensure that the environment does not have an
excessively high CO
2
gases, kitchen vapours, road tra c, etc.
• Switch the device on and wait a few minutes until
a CO
value is displayed. Be aware that the battery
2
must be fully charged for this, or the device must be
connected to the mains power supply.
• Then press the „+" (B) and „Power" (A) buttons
simultaneously.
• The device then displays „CAL" and ashes. Do not
press any buttons during this process.
• After around 20 minutes, the device stops ashing
and calibration is complete.
• The CO
value measured during calibration is stored
2
as a reference value and the device displays 400
ppm. This baseline calibration forms the basis for
informative further measurements.
content, e.g. due to exhaust
Note - reference value
• If the device has been calibrated in an
environment with 800 ppm CO
value will be stored as the reference value. 400
ppm will be displayed, however.
• The ppm display only increases if the real air
value exceeds 800 ppm.
• With a real air value of e.g. 873 ppm, the device
would display 473 ppm. If the value is below
800 ppm, the display will remain at 400 ppm. If
the device displays 400 ppm frequently, this is
probably because it is not su ciently calibrated.
Checking the measuring function
Blow once forcefully into the back of the device. The
CO
indicator should rise signi cantly for several
2
minutes and display values up to 5000 ppm.
Avoid perfume, paint, air freshener, cigarette smoke,
alcohol, chemical substances, etc. near the device when
carrying out measurements in order to prevent incorrect
measuring values.
9. Care and maintenance
