SAFETY INFORMATIONS

This manual serves as a brief guide and does not replace a workshop manual. Always refer to
the vehicle-specific service literature, particularly the technical data such as torque values and
instructions for disassembly/assembly, etc.
REMOVING
1. Select proper sized wheel bearing puller.
2. Install and push the bearing puller into bearing by hand or by rubber mallet.
3. Stop pushing on the bearing puller when it clears the inside of bearing race. You should hear a
slight click.
4. Place main body puller over bearing puller with the fingers of body facing the wheel.
5. Place the brass washer and large nut onto the main body puller and tighten the nut by hand until it
stops at the top face of body.
6. Insert the expander dowel through the other side of wheel, through bearings and bearing puller,
install nut and washer.
7. Torque the nut to around 95 in/lbs, at the same time holding the other side of expander dowel with
an Allen wrench from the other side of wheel. Center body fingers over bearing.
8. Tighten the large nut (do not exceed 40ft.lb) for removing the bearing until the bearing is pulled
free. Apply heat if the bearing is seized into the hub (do not tighten by smaller nut), it will make
bearing easier to remove.
9. Repeat the above steps for another bearing on the other side. Note: Please remove rear pulley
before removing any rear wheel bearing.
INSTALLING
1. Place installer backing plate over bolt, insert them through the wheel.
2. Lube O.D. of new bearing and I.D. of wheel with anti-seize from the other side of wheel that the
side you will be first installing the new bearing.
3. Place new bearing over bolt followed by bearing installer, the installer must be slipped inside the
new bearing.
4. Install washer and nut on the top of bearing installer.
5. Tighten the nut down slowly until the bearing is aligned straight into its bore, making sure bearing
is going in straight and bearing installer is staying centered over the bearing. Avoid over tighten to
damage the new bearing.
6. Remove & leave bearing installer and backing plate on bolt, put them through the newly installed
bearing.
7. Reinstall the wheel spacer over bolt, make sure the sleeve must contact with the inside of the
newly installed bearing.
8. Repeat the above steps for the next new bearing on the other side. Note: You must always install
the first bearing on the left side of wheel. Lightly lubricate all threads and taper before use.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. Packaging should be
sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with
the environment. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information.
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life environmentally.
