I. SAFETY
CHECK THAT YOU HAVE INTEGRATED ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW
WARNING
• Important safety instructions. It is important for the safety of people to follow these ins-
tructions. Save these instructions. Improper installation can lead to serious injury.
• The electrical installation must be done in accordance with the installation rules of each
countries.
• Make sure that children do not play with the remote control, do not leave it within their
reach.
• Regularly check the installation of the awning, if you detect an anomaly, dismantle your
awning and contact your store.
• For an inspection or maintenance of the electrical parts, the internal blind shall be discon-
nected from the energy supply in a safe way.
• If the connecting cable between the awning and the charger is damaged, replace it with a
cable of the same model, reference XYB-01.
• If your charger is damaged or no longer works, replace it only with the same charger as
that of the supplier reference JKY0212-05052000EU. The use of another charger to cau-
se malfunctions and risk of electrical danger.
• The appliance must only be supplied at safety extra low voltage corresponding to the mar-
king on the appliance
• Watch the awning while it is in motion and keep people away until it is fully closed or open
if any risk can happen.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with re-
duced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
• Do not hang anything from the awning, do not overload the awning.
• WARNING: for the purposes of recharging the battery, only use the detachable supply
unit provided with this appliance
• This appliance contains batteries that are only replaceable by skilled persons
• The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is discarded;
• The battery must be disposed of safely.
• The device must be disconnected from the power supply when removing the battery.
WARNING: FOR REMOTE CONTROL
• Keep out of reach of children. Swallowing can lead to chemical burns, perforation of soft
tissue, and death. Severe burns can occur within 2 hours of ingestion. Seek medical atten-
tion immediately.
• Do not allow children to replace batteries without adult supervision
• Always insert batteries correctly about polarity (+ and –) marked on the battery and the
equipment
• Do not short-circuit batteries
• Do not charge batteries
• Do not force discharge batteries
• Exhausted batteries should be immediately removed from equipment and properly disposed of.
