Chain out of measure.
Cause:
1- Wear.
2- Chain of different sizes
Solution:
1- See "chain status verification"
2- Use original spare parts. Change all chain sec-
tion and check that the chain pulley center has
not missed the step.
Hook opening.
Cause:
1- Excess load
2- Incorrect positioning of the support or sling
on the hook.
Solution:
1- See "hook status verification" 2- Place the
support or sling for movement of loads in the
throat of the hook, so that the latch can func-
tion as a security measures. NEVER place the
load suspended from the tip of the hook.
Very hot engine.
Cause:
1- Excessive adjustment in the brake register.
2- Excess workload.
Solution:
1- Check the weight of the loads you are sub-
jecting the hoist.
