5. Start the brewing process as soon as the control lamp
The device starts the brewing process, and water runs through the portafi lter into the cup.
6. Allow roughly a third of the solution to run through and then press the button
7. Allow the descaling solution to take effect for a little while.
8. After around 30 minutes, press the
run through.
9. Rinse the water tank thoroughly and to rinse the device allow two tankfuls of clear water to
run through it.
10. Rinse all detachable parts thoroughly with clear water. The device is now descaled and
ready to be used again.
Storage
Disconnect the device from the mains power when you are not going to use it for a prolonged
period. Clean the device again if necessary (see the "Cleaning and Care" chapter) and let it dry
completely.
Store the device and all accessories in a dry, clean, frost-free place that is protected from direct
sunlight and cannot be accessed by children or animals.

Troubleshooting

If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact our customer
service department.
Do not attempt to repair an electrical device yourself!
