SYSTEM MAINTENANCE

PRACTICAL ADVICE:

VERY IMPORTANT: Check periodically that the
time on the water softener's clock matches the
official local time.
Periodically check the level of salt in the tank.
ONLY USE TABLET SALT, ESPECIALLY FOR WATER
SOFTENERS (VACUUM).
Periodically clean or change the sediment

filter.
· To change the sediment and polyphosphate
filters, follow these steps:
· Shut off the stopcock where the water
softener is installed.
· Turn on a tap to depressurize the
installation.
Turn the bypass control into the "CLOSE"
·
position.
· Take the sediment filter out of its container
vessel and exchange it for a new one.
The sediment filter must be changed when it
becomes a dark brown color. This will depend on
the quality and cloudiness of the water.
Follow the same steps if you also need to change
the polyphosphates filter.
The polyphosphate filter must be changed when the
bead level has considerably decreased, or they
have disappeared.
Return the equipment and container vessels of the
filtering elements to their original state.
