Remove the black protective caps and, based on the above criteria, check the condition of nuts, Belleville washers
and assembly welds.

present. Check that all parts rotate freely.
Cross-over anchors (depending on the model): Check the condition of each cross-over anchor: no defects such

anchors may be present. Make sure the anchors cross over one another freely.
O-ring anchors (depending on the model): Check the condition of each O-ring: no defects such as wear, nicks or

cuts or signs of chemicals, cement, paint, etc. that could impair operation or strength of the O-rings may be
present.
End knot: Check the condition and existence of the end knot; it consists of a knot protected by a heat-shrink

sleeve.
Polyester rope: Check the condition of the rope along its entire length: no defects such as wear, nicks, cuts, burns,

damaged or fraying threads, discolouration, variation in flexibility or signs of chemicals, cement, paint, etc. that
could impair the strength of the rope may be present.
Marking: Check that markings are present and legible.

Connector: Check the connector verification sheet.

Overall condition: Evaluate the overall condition, keeping the above inspections in mind as well as the product's
general appearance.
