Rear connection, HWAM 3220 – drawings A and B
1. Lift the rear plate (1) and pull it away from the stove so that it disengages from the guide pins on the
bottom plate of the stove.
2. Loosen and remove the 4 Allen bolts (2) behind the heat shield (3). Lift the heat shield slightly and
pull it away from the stove.
3. Attach the accompanying gasket (4) to the edge of the heat screen (5) and to the edge of the separa-
tor plate (6).
4. Insert the connector bush (7) into the hole in the heat shield from the inside. Secure the connector
bush with 3 self-tapping screws (8). Fasten the screws as shown on the drawing.
5. Pull the insulation sleeve (9) on to the flexi-hose and attach the flexi-hose (10) to the connector bush.
6. Place the bottom of the heat shield between the stove and the guide pins (11) at the back of the
bottom plate on the stove and press it in towards the stove. Secure the heat shield with the 4 Allen
bolts (2).
7. Break off the plate (12) at the bottom of the rear plate to make room for the flexi-hose.
8. Lead the flexi-hose through the hole in the rear plate. Place the rear plate on the guide pins at the
back of the bottom plate of the stove; then press it in towards the stove. Lift the rear plate and press
it lightly inwards until it engages with the guide pins.
Bottom connection, HWAM 3220 – drawings A, C and D
1. Lift the rear plate (1) and pull it away from the stove so that it disengages from the guide pins on the
bottom plate of the stove.
2. Loosen and remove the 4 Allen bolts (2) behind the heat shield (3). Lift the heat shield slightly and
pull it away from the stove.
3. Attach the accompanying gasket (4) to the edge of the heat screen (5) and to the edge of the separa-
tor plate (6).
4. Remove the cover plate (7) from the stove and secure it to the inside of the heat shield with 3 self-
tapping screws (8). Screw in the screws as shown on the drawing.
5. Secure the connector bush (9) in the place you removed the cover plate from. Use the 3 accompany-
ing screws (10). Insert and fasten the screws from the wood section on the stove.
6. Break off the pre-cut plate (11) in the bottom plate of the stove.
7. Pull the insulation sleeve (12) on to the flexi-hose and attach the flexi-hose (13) to the connector
bush.
8. Place the bottom of the heat shield between the stove and the guide pins (14) at the back of the
bottom plate on the stove and press it in towards the stove. Secure the heat shield with the 4 Allen
bolts (2).
9. Place the rear plate on the guide pins at the back of the bottom plate of the stove; then press it in
towards the stove. Lift the rear plate and press it lightly inwards until it engages with the guide pins.
