Only use pots, pans, etc. with a at base that
is designed for use on electric hotplates,
and of a size to suit the individual hotplate.
For indoor use only.
The hotplate must be placed on a at,
stable and heat-resistant surface. Be sure to
position the hotplate so that it cannot tip or
tilt over.
Do not place the hotplate under or near
curtains or other ammable items.
Make sure the cord does not come into
contact with the hot parts of the hotplate.
Before use
To remove any protective lm and harden
the hotplate, it should be left at maximum
temperature for around 5 minutes. Smoke
may develop from the hotplate. This is
normal and completely safe and will
pass after a short time. Ensure adequate
ventilation in the meantime.
This is the only time when the hotplate
should be switched on without cookware
on it.
Functions
The hotplate is thermostatic. This means
that the thermostat will turn the power
on and off , and the indicator lamp for the
hotplate will also turn on and off along with
the thermostat.
Please be aware that the thermostat will be
able to turn on and off before, for instance,
water begins to boil. This is completely
normal.
Use
Plug in.
Place the pan on the hotplate.
Select the desired heat for the hotplate
using the temperature selector (2).
The red indicator light for the hotplate
comes on (3).
The indicator light will go on and off as the
thermostat does.
Turn the temperature selector to 0 and
unplug the hotplate after use. Allow to cool
down completely.
Cleaning and maintenance
Remove the plug from the mains socket
before cleaning.
The hotplate must not be immersed in any
liquid. All surfaces can be cleaned using a
well-wrung cloth.
For stubborn stains, a small amount of
detergent is recommended.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring
pads for cleaning.
Always make sure that the hotplate is
completely dry before use.
