2 – Position / Setup of detector
Please.also.make.sure.that.the.view.of.the.front.sensors.
is. not. obstructed. by. windscreen. wipers. or. bonnet.
scoops.etc,.and.that.the.detector.is.level.(horizontal).to.
the road (plus or minus 20 degrees will not significantly
affect.performance)..You.can.change.the.angle.of.the.
detector.by.bending.the.bracket,.but.please.detach.the.
detector first. By raising the BTST by an inch or two,
you can significantly increase its performance.
3 – Heat Reflective Front Screen
If.you.have.a.fairly.new.car.(usually.French),.you.may.
have a heat reflective front windscreen. Most such
screens have a 'GPS Gap' by the interior mirror where
you. can. position. the. BTST. and. it. will. work. perfectly..
Please see your car manual to confirm if you have a heat
reflective screen and if so, where the 'GPS Gap' is.
If.you.have.tried.switching.OFF.City.mode,.getting.the.
correct. position. and. angle,. and. positioning. it. in. the.
'GPS Gap' (if applicable) and are still finding the same
problem,. then. please. return. it. to. your. retailer. with. a.
full. description. of. the. problem. and. your. full. contact.

Please hold the 'PWR' button down for 2 seconds
and.repeat.until.you.select.the.visual.alert.mode.you.

represent the Radar bands used by Police to catch
