1.2.4 Loading the tape

€ If needed cut the end of the tape so that it has a clean square end.
€ Load the tape roll into the basket so that the gummed side is down and the roll is
upright between the roll guides.
€ The end of the tape is fed under the upper tape plate and drive wheel and is
butted against the shear blade
€ Close the top cover.
NOTE:
Be sure the top cover is fully closed.
There is a safety interlock built into the
dispenser which prevents the machine
from operating unless the cover is
completely closed.

1.2.5 Attaching the power cord

€ Attach the female end of the power cord to the dispenser connector first. Plug the
male end into a 240V receptacle.
NOTE:

There is a 9-pin female connector at the rear of the machine that
can be used to attach a pedal switch and to access an RS-232
serial data port. Using this data port, a variety of computer
devices can send commands to and receive information from this
dispenser. Further information on inquiry.
The device is now ready for operation.
