1. UNPACKING AND SETUP

1.1 Unpacking

When opening the top flaps on the box there will be instructions for removing the
tape dispenser from its packaging.
Save the box and packing materials in case you need to ship the unit at some future
time.

1.1.1 Checking the contents

Check following parts (see figure 1):
€ Brush assembly (3 bevelled brushes assembled
together with a cotter pin)
€ Water tank
€ Bottle
€ Upper tape plate
€ Power cord

1.2 SETUP

1.2.1 Adjusting the roll guides

Roll guides fit into slots in the front and bottom panels of the tape basket. They hold
the tape roll vertical to allow the tape to unwind.
NOTE:
Procedure (see figure 2)
€ Removing a guide by grasping it, lifting it up ,
and pulling the bottom of it to the rear of the unit.
€ Reinserting each guide by pressing it first into
the front slot.
€ The space between the guides must be set just
than the width of the tape.
€ The positions of the 2 guides should be equal.
