BEFORE THE FIRST USE
• Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers,
protective foil or plastic from the device.
• Clean the inside of the Tortilla maker with a damp cloth and dry it well.

Never immerse the appliance in water.
• Place the device on a flat stable surface with the plates positioned on the left
side of the base. Ensure a free space of 35 cm on the right side of the base
to be able to flip the plates and a minimum of 10 cm of free space around
the rest of the device. This device is not suitable for installation in a cabinet
or use in a humid environment.
• We advise to place a heat resistant surface between your table and the

appliance (this way you will not get burn marks on your table or table cloth).
• Put the mains plug into the power outlet . (Note: Make sure the voltage
which is indicated on the device matches the local voltage before
connecting the device. (Voltage 220-240V ~ 50/60Hz)

• When the device is turned on for the first time, a slight odor may be

noticeable . This fragrance is normal, temporary and will disappear soon.

Please ensure there is adequate ventilation.
USE
• Close the Tortilla chef and plug it into the power outlet. Set the temperature
knob to the desired temperature and turn the timer knob to the right. Both
indication lights will illuminate, indicating that the device is on and preheating.
• Note: both control knobs must be set to operate the device.
• The green ready indication light will turn off once the set temperature is
reached and the device is ready for use.
• Now place the desired dish in the pan and turn the timer knob to the
desired cooking time.
