Inductive Mode

The ST-510 can be used without a direct connection to a
pipe or cable. In Inductive Mode, the ST-510 generates a
field which induces a current into a conductor such as a pipe
running directly beneath it.
1. Be sure that the transmitter is positioned correctly
over the line.

2. Push the inductive mode (upper right) button to
induce a signal onto the line. The Inductive Mode
message will appear on the screen.
