3.2.1 Pairing with a Bluetooth

Two Bluetooth devices must be paired before they can communicate with
each other. The cellphone detects the CABERG JUST SPEAK system as a
Bluetooth ® earpiece. Consult your cellphone handbook to see how to pair
the devices (connecting Bluetooth
JUST SPEAK.
1 Make sure the CABERG JUST SPEAK is turned off.
2 Press the middle button.
3 The system will come on after about 4 seconds. Without releasing the but-
ton, keep the button pressed for another 4 seconds until the LED flashes
rapidly (alternating red/blue flashing) and a tone can be heard through the
loudspeakers. This indicates the system is in pairing mode.
4 While the CABERG JUST SPEAK system is in pairing mode, search for
Bluetooth ® devices with the cellphone, MP3 player or GPS unit according
to the instructions in the handbook.
5 IThe name "Caberg BT3.00 12a" (the numerical part could be different), fol-
lowed by the manufacturer's identification data, will appear on the phone
display in the list of available devices.
6 Select the CABERG JUST SPEAK device.
7 When the password is requested, insert the code 0000 (four zeroes). The
CABERG JUST SPEAK will confirm pairing with a headset tone, and the
LED will switch from rapid to slow flashing.
8 Switch the CABERG JUST SPEAK system off and on again to memorise
the pairing information.
Note: if it is necessary to repeat the operation, switch the system off and
start again from step 1). The pairing operation can be repeated without
risk of damage to the system.

Note: If, when the CABERG JUST SPEAK system is switched on again, it
does not connect automatically, then connect to the cellphone manually
(this operation is described in the cellphone handbook) or with the CA-
BERG JUST SPEAK system by using a medium pressure on the middle
ON/OFF button for about 2 seconds.
Note: the pairing is saved by CABERG JUST SPEAK and the cellphone,
and is not lost when they are turned off, so it is only necessary to carry
out this operation once.
Note: The CABERG JUST SPEAK system can remember several Blue-
tooth ® devices, as well as a CABERG JUST SPEAK for intercom commu-
nications. When switched on, the CABERG JUST SPEAK will look for the
last three paired devices in order and connect to the first device available
(no MP3 player). If the device connected previously is not in the last three
or is not connected automatically, connect it manually. (In the event of error
repeat the pairing process).
3.2.2 Reset pairing function
It is possible to delete all paired devices from the system memory. This op-
eration is not reversible – after the reset you will have to pair the cellphone or
other Bluetooth® compatible devices again.
Proceed as follows:
• Activate the pairing mode for the system (press
begins to flash rapidly) (see paragraph 3.2.1 on pairing, points 1, 2 and 3).
• While CABERG JUST SPEAK is in pairing mode, press + and - buttons
at the same time for two seconds, then release them when you hear a tone.
The system will emit a special confirmation tone and the LED will switch to
slow flashing.

3.2.3 Functions with cellphone
