• Before use, check for proper seating of the
socket and / or insert tool used. Fit the tool
in such a way that it cannot slip off the screw
connection. Otherwise you risk personal injury
and / or material damage.
• When using sockets or insert tools, always
ensure that they conform to the standard and
that they have the correct shape and size for the
screw connection to be tightened.
• In addition, it is important that the used socket
or insert tool is not loaded to a greater extent
than the maximum permitted. This value may
be less than the achievable release torque
of the torque wrench. The use of homemade
special tools constitutes a possible hazard.
Disregarding this warning may lead to personal
injury and / or material damage.
• HAZET torque wrenches are only intended
for tightening screw connections. Under no
circumstances must they be used as levers,
clamping or hammering tools!
• Torque wrenches are calibrated hand tools
and must be handled with great care. For this
reason you should always avoid mechanical,
chemical or thermal stress in excess of that
encountered in normal use as intended. The
torque wrench must not be used as a hammer-
ing tool. Such use may cause accidents and
damage. Extreme climatic conditions (cold,
heat, humidity) may affect the release accuracy.
• The improper use of the tool or the disregard of
the safety advice may cause severe injury.
• Any deviation from the intended use and/or any
misapplication of the tool is not allowed and will
be considered as improper use.
• Any claims against the manufacturer and/or its
authorized agents because of damage caused
by improper use of the tool will be void.
• Any personal injury or material losses caused by
improper use are the sole responsibility of the
operator and user.
