Remove all packaging material and foils. Put the handle on top of the lid and fix it with the screw
and washer provided. Ensure that the handle is fixed properly at the glass lid.
Clean the pan and the cap as described in CLEANING INSTRUCTION and NOTES FOR
MAINTENANCE AND USE OF NON-ADHERENT SURFACES.
When it is first switched on, the grill may smell and emit some smoke. This is normal; the
grease that may have adhered to the element during manufacturing is burning off. We therefore
recommend that you heat up the grill for a few minutes without any food (ventilate the room
during this period).
Wipe the non-stick coated surface slightly with some cooking oil.
