SETTINGS AND ADJUSTMENTS
All adjustments must be made on the basis of the specific characteristics of the user appliance. Check
inlet and outlet pressure using the provided pressure test points. After testing, carefully seal the test
points with the provided screws:
Recommended torque: 2.5 Nm.
Adjustment of the gas flow to the main burner
Turn the RP/RQ screw using a screwdriver (working from the side) or an 8 mm spanner (working from
the top) until the desired pressure is obtained. With clockwise rotation:
RP version: the pressure increases.
RQ version: the pressure decreases.
Overriding the pressure regulator
If necessary the pressure regulator can be overridden by turning the screw PR fully in.
Overriding the flow rate adjuster
Turn the setting screw fully in and then unscrew it 1.5 - 2 turns.
Step opening flow rate adjustment
To carry out the adjustment: turn the "I step" screw with a screwdriver to obtain safe and silent ignition.
Clockwise rotation: the ignition flow rate decreases; proceed by trial and error. After every adjustment,
check proper ignition after de-energizing the solenoid valves for at least 40 seconds (10" in the low
reset time versions). Alternatively: fit a screw with a suitable calibrated hole and screw it fully in
(recommended torque 1 Nm).
Adjustment of the gas flow to the pilot burner.
Adjust the "Pilot" screw. Clockwise rotation: the flow rate decreases.
IMPORTANT: At the end of all setting and adjustment operations, check the electrical insulation, gas
tightness and the efficiency of the appliance. After carrying out all adjustments, fit the provided seals
and/or block the setting screws with paint, taking care not to block the pressure regulator vent A and the
step opening device vent B.
MAINTENANCE
The only maintenance operation permitted is the replacement of the coils. The operation must be
carried out exclusively by qualified personnel.
