INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
1 - Loosen the clamp clip (3) and set it horizontally, x the clamp medium.
2 - Once we have the horizontal, open and xed clamp we can proceed to climb the bike
manually, when we hold the bike on the clamp we proceed to tighten (2) the clamp according
to the type of frame.
3 - Already fasten the bike with the clamp (1), loosen the side loop (3), look for the necessary
angle according to the inclination of the frame or the work to be performed, x the side loop
(3) to keep at the desired angle.
4 - The clamp has no tightening stop; the user must determine the pressure (2) he needs
according to the work to be performed and the type of frame to be fastened.
It is important to know the type of frame to be fastened, as the carbon frames are weaker at
tightening.
*For this type of frame there is a special clamp (Goliath 360º Carbon) that allows to cover more
frame surface and reduce the e ort per square centimeter, it also has a softer polyurethane
protection and designed to prevent the frame from rolling even with less pressure.
(See our product catalog)
5 - With the raised bike we can rotate it on the axis of the desired clamp.
For this operation we only have to loosen the side loop (3) that secures the clamp.
Once the bike is in the desired position, proceed again to tighten the side loop so that it
remains xed in that position.
6 - Whenever we intend to rotate 180º (or other angle) we must make sure that the clamp has
the necessary pressure (2) on the frame so that it does not roll it is possible that it could tip
sideways.
To return to the starting position, simply loosen the side clip (3) again and hold the bike to a
at position or the angle desired.
It is very important to do this by ipping the bike 180º simple and with little e ort, then hold
the bike and look for the point with the most approximate center of gravity.
7 - Once you have nished work and want to lower the bike to its starting position, you should
look for the horizontal plane of the clamp before opening it, once opened you can lower the
bike manually.
HAZARD WARNINGS IN THE USE OF GOLIATH G-BENCH:
1 - Always place the bike in the elevator as centered as possible, always looking for the closest center of gravity.
2 - Do not hold the bicycle at the ends under any circumstances.
3 - Always hold the clamp in rigid areas of the frame, avoiding plastic beautifying housings or other weak areas.
4 - The machine must not be operated by children, only by adults.
5 – you should proceed with caution when turning the bike 180º as the handlebars can hit the bench and damage part
of the controls.
IT IS FORBIDDEN TO WORK UNDER THE LIFTED LOAD WITHOUT SECURING IT WITH APPROPRIATE ADDITIONAL MEANS.
WARNINGS IN CASE OF REPAIR OF THE GOLIATH G-BENCH STAND:
1- Only use spare parts from the manufacturer or authorized supplier.
2- The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any modi cations made without prior authorization from the
manufacturer.
3- Only use the GOLIATH G-BENCH stand according to the manufacturer's instruction manual.
4- Only carry out maintenance and repairs in accordance with the manufacturer's instruction manual.
5- Repairs and maintenance may only be performed by quali ed personnel.
MAINTENANCE:
1 - The stand does not require any speci c maintenance.
2 - The only grease point can be the clamp holder and tightening loop, which must be lubricated with a little grease,
petroleum jelly etc.
This greasing process should be done to the user's liking and although it is not necessary, it can contribute to the
smoother movements.
WARNING
THE CLOSING PRESSURE OF THE 360º BASIC CLAMP MUST BE DETERMINED
BY THE USER FOR ITS CORRECT OPERATION.
GOLIATH BIKE WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED
TO THE FRAME OR ANY PART OF THE BICYCLE DUE TO MISUSE OF THE 360º
BASIC CLAMP, THE USER BEING SOLELY RESPONSIBLE.
IN NO CASE SHOULD THE 360º BASIC CLAMP (G-AC014) BE USED TO HOLD
CARBON FRAMES. FOR THIS WE HAVE THE 360º CARBON CLAMP DESIGNED
EXCLUSIVELY TO EXERT LESS PRESSURE AND NOT DAMAGE CARBON FRAMES.
