STARTING THE PASTEURIZER
1. Heating process
Connect the pasteurizer to a single phase 230V socket, to start the pasteurization cycle
Once the pasteurization is over, the "buzzer" (located in the blue box on the side) will make a
sound
Disconnect the power plug and prepare the cooling phase
! never connect the P 9000 without the water bath being filled: risk of damaging the resistance
! if the pasteurizer remains connected, the setpoint temperature will regulate the heating process,
and the "buzzer" will make regular sounds until complete disconnection
! start the yogurt-maker at the same time as the P 9000 (increase of temperature)
2. Cooling process
Remove the outer lid and install the water supply hose
Open the TOP (HAUT) red tap, followed by the cold water tap
The cooling cycle starts (progressive draining of hot water)
After a few minutes, check the milk's temperature using the
thermometer; the milk must be cooled down to 45 ° C (or to the
temperature recommended by the fermenting agents' supplier)
3. Seeding with ferments
When the milk's temperature has dropped to 45 ° C (or to the
suggested temperature), close the cold water tap and remove the
water supply hose
Lift the inner lid, pour the dose of fermenting agents and mix
From this step on, you can take the milk from the P 9000, fill the pots
and follow the heated maturation process

TEMPERATURE CONTROL

Check the setpoint ° C for pasteurization when using for the first
time
(there may be a few degrees of difference from the default value)
Fill the water bath and the inner vat with water
When the buzzer sounds, check the °C using the thermometer
The temperature should be between 82 and 88 ° C
Otherwise, slightly turn the screw with a screwdriver
(clockwise, to increase ° C and vice versa)
Repeat the process until obtaining the right setpoint °C.
Take the spring out of the lid
immerse the thermometer through the
and
hole
