INSTALLATION
Installation: Through The Cig Lighter Adapter:
Plug the cig lighter adapter (12V Plug) into the female cig lighter socket in vehicle. Make sure both ends are secure and aligned
correctly.
Installation to Battery by Alligator Clamps:
Connect the alligator clamps correctly by matching the red clamp which is Positive (+) to the Positive (+) terminal on your battery.
Connect the black Clamp which is Negative (-) to the Negative (-) Terminal on your battery. Follow this carefully to not cause any
bodily harm. The panel with the black side up should face directly towards the sun for optimal charging power.
Mounting With Suction Cups To The Windshield:
Insert the 2 Suction Cups into the predrilled ends of the solar panel. Make sure they are secured properly in the panel. Choose a
location preferably facing the sun and attach to the windshield or other glass surface. For best results, ensure windshield is dry,
clean, room temperature and slightly lubricate the suction cups before mounting. Lubricants may include Saliva or Vaseline.
NOTE:
Solar Panel includes blocking diode to prevent reverse current. It is not recommended to operate your vehicle while the solar panel
is attached to your windshield. When operating your vehicle it is best to secure the solar panel in the glove box or under the seat.
The Solar Battery Maintainer is not weatherproof and will void Its warranty if mounted outside. The unit can be weatherproofed by
using silicone around the edges of the glass frame and around the plugs to block moisture.

1. What type of batteries can my Solar Battery Maintainer charge?
A. All 12V batteries like ones used in Cars, Boats, RV's, Motorcycles and PWC's.
2. Can I overcharge my battery?
A. The Solar Battery Maintainer has a built in blocking diode that prevents discharge of the battery and also prevents overcharging.
3. Will the Solar Battery Maintainer keep my battery fully charged?
A. The Solar Battery Maintainer charges your battery with the power of the sun. It compensates for key off drain and long periods
of non use and on board electronics.
It is designed to maintain batteries.
4. Can I start/drive my vehicle while the unit is connected to the battery or cig lighter adapter?
A. No. Please make sure that while operating your vehicle the solar battery maintainer is stored under the seat or in the glove box.
5. How long does it take to charge a dead battery?
A. The unit is designed to trickle charge batteries only. If the battery is dead, we suggest a larger output solar charger such as the
7W or 20W.
6. Can I Extend the Wire?
A. The 1,8 m wire can be extended up to 15' for a max of 25', without loss of power or voltage.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
1, I am not sure if my panel is functioning?
- Ensure Battery is operational. Over time, a batteries ability to recharge will deteriorate
- Ensure the distance of the wires is not longer than 30 feet and all connections are secure
- Measure the panel voltage with a voltmeter. The voltage reading should be between 15 to 21,5 volts in the sun.

This product is warranted from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two years from date of purchase.
This warranty does not apply in the event of misuse or abuse of the (not authorized) repairs or alterations. For warranty service,
proof of purchase will be required.
