If the following precautions are not observed, the child may be at risk of injury or death, and a
damage accident may occur.
Cautions on installation of the child car seat
Do not use it in the vehicle or on a
passenger seat that does not correspond to
the adaptation.
• This child car seat must be installed
correctly in the vehicle that is conformed to
it and used properly. If not, its performance
may be compromised. If you later install it in
another vehicle, do not forget to check the
conformance again.
Do not install or remove the child car seat
while the vehicle is moving.
• Stop the vehicle and then install it.
Do not use the child car seat on a passenger
seat equipped with an airbag.
• An airbag presents risk of serious injury
or death of a child in a child car seat,
because it imparts high pressure if it opens.
If it is possible to deactivate the airbag,
do so in accordance with the instructions
in the owner's manual for the vehicle. (A
passenger seat with only a side or curtain
airbag can be used.)
Do not install the child car seat on a front
passenger seat.
• It is more dangerous than the rear
passenger seats in a collision.
For safe usage
Do not slide or recline the passenger seat on
which the child car seat is installed.
• It may let the seatbelt loosen, in which case
the child seat cannot be fixed safely.
Make sure that the tongue is not loosened
and twisted.
• The child seat cannot be installed properly
and safely.
Unfasten the buckle of the vehicle from its
holder when you install the child seat.
• If not, it cannot be installed properly and
safely.
Do not install the child car seat on a
passenger seat that will be an obstacle for
other passengers in an emergency (a seat at
the entrance of one side door, etc.).
• The child car seat may prevent escape in an
emergency.
The child car seat may leave imprints on the
seat after being removed.
