Notes related to R290 refrigerant
This equipment is only designed for use with R290 (propane) refrigerant, which is sealed in the
refrigerant circuit under pressure. Repairs to this equipment may only be carried out by a specially
trained service technician in accordance with national legislation on flammable substances! Do not
manipulate with the cooling circuit, puncture it, or expose it to higher temperatures.
Do not discharge the refrigerant into the atmosphere.
Do not attempt to accelerate the defrosting process in any way (for example, by heating).

The device must be placed in a room of at least 10 m
.
R290 is a flammable gas (propane) and is heavier than air. For this reason, its leakage concentration
rises most at ground level, but it can swirl (eg through draft, fan, etc.) into higher layers. The propane
used in this device is an odourless gas.
Do not use the device in the rooms with in an open fire or other strong heat sources (such as
cigarettes, candles, etc.) or electrical discharges. Place the unit in a room that can be ventilated and
where gas accumulation is not possible.
If propane is detected in the room or is suspected to be present, do not allow unauthorized persons
to locate the leak. In this case, evacuate all people from the room, open the windows, leave the
room and notify the local fire station of the propane leak. Do not allow any person to return to the
room until the fire brigade commander or a certified service technician decides that the danger is
over.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE ABOVE GUIDELINES MAY RESULT IN FIRE, EXPLOSION, PROPERTY
DAMAGE, INJURY OR DEATH.
