3. Install extension tube
Attach the extension tube to the upper mount with the Extension Tube Hardware. Do not fully tighten the
hardware.
Extension Tube Hardware:
a. (2) 1/2-13 x 5'' GR 8 Bolt
b. (4) 1/2'' Flat Washer
c. (2) 1/2-13 Nylock Nut

Note: If the mounting structure requires a
non-standard extension tube length, see
Cutting the Extension Tube in the back of
this installation guide.
4. Confirm orientation and tighten hardware
Allow the extension tube to hang so that it is vertically and horizontally level, making any necessary angle
adjustments to the upper mount. When the tube is properly positioned, tighten the Extension Tube Hardware
and the Standard Mount Hardware to 40 ft·lb (54.2 N·m) using a torque wrench and 3/4" (19 mm) socket.
Tighten the center Standard Mount Hardware bolts first.
