USING THE REMOTE CONTROL

3The bed can be moved into different positions using the remote control.
Overview of the functions on the remote control:
1.
Raise head end
2.
Lower head end
3. Raise
foot end
4.
Lower foot end
MALFUNCTION
If you are unable to adjust the bed, proceed as follows.
NOISE LEVEL
A mechanical and electrically adjustable bed generates noise. The noise that
the bed makes may be reinforced by the acoustics of the room it is in.
EMERGENCY FUNCTION
In the event of a power failure, the bed can be moved to a horizontal posi-
tion by pressing button 2 (head end) and/or 4 (foot end) close to the bed
until it is again in an upright position. Replace the batteries in the motor
after this function has been used.
USAGE
The bed's lifting motors are not designed for continuous usage. The bed
will only continue to be reliable and operate for a normal life if the motors
do not operate for longer than 2 minutes during a 15 minute period. If this
limit is exceeded, the life of the products will be reduced and the guaran-
tee will no longer apply. The bed has been constructed in such a way that
it can bear a maximum weight of 150 kg, distributed equally over the entire
surface of the bed, from the head end to the foot end.
If you exceed these limits, the product will be damaged and the guarantee
one no longer apply. It is important that no-one is sitting on the head or
foot and of the bed while the bed is raised.
NB!
If used carelessly items may become trapped by the bed's moving
parts. You should therefore keep the remote control out of the reach
of children!
ELECTRICAL DATA
Power supply: 230 V AC 50/60 Hz.
Standby power: Max 0.5 W.
Reset the remote control, see point 12 under 'Assembly/starting up'.
Check whether the plug has been inserted properly into the socket and
that it is connected to the power supply.
Check that there are batteries in remote control. Replace the batteries if
they have run out.
If required remove the plug from the socket and repeat the procedure.
Do not open the motor, the electrical components or the remote control
yourself. The producer does not accept any liability if an unauthorised
person has opened the motor, or has tampered with the electrical
components or the remote control. New parts must be obtained from an
