3. Sort and assemble the poles.
4. Before you tense the pole, loosen the straps that regulate the footing ten-
sion. Insert the shorter pole at the foot end of the tent and the longer pole
at the front end into the pins (A) and then erect the tent. Pull the straps
tight again.
5. Clip the outer tent onto the poles
6. Use 2 stakes to anchor the vestibule (C) and then simply pull the tent apart
(D). Place 2 more stakes to anchor out the end. Now the tent can stand on
its own (E).
7. Use additional stakes and guylines as necessary.
8. Ensure that the tent has sufficient airflow. Use the zip at the vestibule and
adjust as needed.
TAKE DOwn – gEnERAl inSTRUCTiOnS:
• Remove everything from the tent's interior.
• Freestanding tents can be gently shaken out to remove leaves, sand, and
other debris.
• Turn the tent over with floor facing upward and allow it to dry a bit longer.
• If it's not possible to dry the tent completely before packing it, this should
be done within 12 hours to prevent the risk of mold and mildew growth.
• As in the tent set up, never pull the poles out of the pole sleeves; rather
push them through.
• When storing a tent in its stuff sack, make sure that stakes and poles don't
press against the tent fabric and damage it.
• Before taking down your tent, close all zips and roll up the guy lines. That
way you won't have to untangle them when it comes time to set the tent
up again, and pitching is that much easier.
TAKE DOwn
1. Poles - loosen footings and pole clips. Let the tent collapse.
2. Collect the poles and roll them together with the tarp. Don't pack the tent
first and then force in the poles!
STORAgE/CARE/REPAiRS:
• As soon as the tent is dry and clean it can be stored in its pack sack in
CAMPO ARCO 2P + 3P 15
