TEMPERATURE CONTROL
The temperature in the refrigerator is regulated by the thermostat control in the upper
range. The MIN position is the warmest setting and the MAX position the coldest. Set the
thermostat to the middle position for normal use.
Note: The maximum setting may cause frost damage to food.
The coldest zone in the refrigerator
This symbol indicates the coldest zone inside the refrigerator. This area is
located above the vegetable compartment.
To help you adjust your refrigerator correctly, it is equipped with a temperature indicator
that monitors the average temperature in the coldest zone.
Note: This indicator is only intended for use with your refrigerator, not for use with
your refrigerator.
Checking the temperature in the coldest zone
With the temperature display you can check whether the temperature of the coldest
zone is correct. In fact, the internal temperature of the refrigerator depends on several
factors, such as the ambient temperature of the room, the amount of food stored and
the frequency with which the door is opened. Take these factors into account when
setting up the appliance. If the display shows [OK], it means that your thermostat is well
adjusted and the indoor temperature is correct.
If the temperature display shows only a white area, this means that the indoor
temperature is too high. Increase the setting of the thermostat control and wait 12 hours
before performing a new visual check of the display. If fresh food has been added or the
door left open, the temperature indicator may also turn white.
