Water Tanks with outlet connections
When connecting the pressure washer to a water tank with a
suitable tap outlet, first connect the supply hose (not provid-
ed) to the tank outlet, open the tap to allow the water to dis-
place all the air in the hose and then connect to the pressure
washer.
Troubleshooting
Problem
Motor refuses to start
Motor stops
Fuses blow
Motor starts but no pressure
Motor "sounds" but fails to start
Pressure pulsating
Pressure too low, but steady
Note: Several types of accessory
will normally deliver a lower pres-
sure
Motor starts up but with restricted
or no working pressure
The pressure washer starts irregu-
larly by itself
Water leaks from machine

Possible Cause
Plug not connected
Mains socket faulty
Fuse faulty/blown
Extension cable damaged
Motor protector has activated
Frozen
Fuse faulty/blown
Wrong mains voltage
Motor protector has activated
Fuses incorrectly rated
Nozzle partly blocked
Insufficient power supply
Voltage loss due to use of extension cable Check characteristics of extension cable
Appliance not used for a long period of time Contact your Bosch Service Centre
Problems with TSS (Total Stop System) de-
vice
Air in the inlet water supply hose/pump
Inadequate water supply
Water filter blocked
Water supply hoses squeezed
High pressure hose too long
Nozzle worn
Start/stop valve worn
No water supply
Water filter clogged up
Nozzle clogged up
Pump/power gun leaky
Leaking pump
Corrective Action
Connect plug
Use another socket
Replace fuse
Try without extension cable
Allow to cool for 15 minutes
Wait for pump/water supply hose/accessory
to thaw
Replace fuse
Check that mains voltage corresponds to
specifications on the model tag
Allow to cool for 15 minutes
Change to a mains supply higher than the
pressure washer amp consumption
Clean nozzle
Check that the voltage of the mains power
supply line is the same as that on the plate
Contact your Bosch Service Centre
Allow pressure washer to run with open spray
handle and nozzle at low pressure until regu-
lar working pressure is obtained
Check that the water supply corresponds to
specifications. The minimum specification
for the water supply hose is 1/2" or 13 mm di-
ameter
Clean water filter
Straighten out kinked water supply hoses
Remove high pressure extension hose. Retry
(extension hose max. 7 m)
Change the nozzle
Activate trigger five times in quick succession
Connect water supply
Clean the water filter
Clean nozzle
