Install the washers and nuts on the connections and
studs.
Install the check valves.
Install the hose adapters.

Connect the hot hose to the hot supply and the cold
hose to the cold supply.

Do not overtighten the nuts as
damage to the housing may result.
If the hoses are not connected to the
proper supplies, the thermostatic
mixer cannot function correctly, caus-
ing a scald hazard.
Use two wrenches, as shown, to pre-
vent the hoses from twisting.
