FUNCTIONS AND FEATURES

SOUND CONTROL SECTION
• Set BASS BOOST button [13] to R ON to get the rich bass sound. To turn it N OFF,
press BASS BOOST button again.
• Press SURROUND button [23] to emphasize the surround sound effect and the
surround indicator will light up. To turn off the effect, press SURROUND button again.
RADIO SECTION
RADIO AERIALS
• For FM, lengthen the telescopic aerial. To improve FM-reception, incline and turn the
aerial. Reduce its length if the FM-signal is too strong (very close to a transmitter).
• For AM, the set is provided with a built-in aerial, so the telescopic aerial is not
needed. Direct the aerial by turning the whole set.
STEREO/MONO (FM only)
• When an FM stereo signal is too weak or noisy for stereo listening, set the switch [4]
to the FM position to reduce the noise.
BEAT CUT (AM only)
• If beat noise is audible during the recording from an AM radio programme, flip switch
[26] over from [A] to [B] or from [B] to [A] to reduce the noise.
TUNER with 20 PRESET STATIONS
• Allows you to memorize 10 stations for FM and 10 stations each for AM.
