NASAL WASH RHINO CLEAR®
Before each use, wash your hands thoroughly and sanitize RHINO CLEAR® as described in section "CLEANING
SANITIZATION DISINFECTION". The NASAL WASH SYSTEM and accessories are for personal use only to avoid
potential risks of transmitting infection.
During the application it is recommended to be adequately protected against dripping.
1) Insert the atomiser (C5.3) into the nebulisation chamber (C5.4.1).
2) Place the solution (max 10 ml) in the nebulizing chamber (C5.4.1).
3) Apply the separator (C5.2) verifying that the arrow on the shower body is aligned with the
separator (Pic. B). Then, insert the correct adapter for your age, or the most appropriate to fit the
size of your nostrils (C5.1A/C5.1B/C5.1C).
4) Connect the RHINO CLEAR® device through the tube (B) and the fitting (C6).
5) Turn on the device using the switch (A1).
6) Place the device close to the nose and gently insert the adapter nosepiece into one nostril.
7) During treatment it is preferable to hold the other nostril closed, where the shower is not
applied, by applying light finger pressure.
8) Run the shower holding down the manual dispensing button (C5.5) during the inhalation phase and release it before
exhaling; at this stage, to help expel the mucus, blow gently through the nostril treated directly into the RHINO CLEAR®.
9) Repeat from Step 6 to Step 8 for the other nostril, trying to evenly distribute the solution between the two nostrils.
10) When used on children or other dependent people, or in any case when there are problems in coordinating the various
phases of paragraph 8), we recommend to run the application alternating the nostrils about 20 seconds each, with
pauses required to expel the mucus.
11) The operations described in the preceding paragraphs is useful for nasal cleaning using physiological solutions.
The treatment with drugs is advisable after a first cleaning with physiological solution in order to achieve a more
effective distribution of the drug on the nasal mucosa.
